| Awards: | Join us for this virtual run/walk to benefit long time Oconee County teacher Susie Searcy who is battling endometrial cancer. Each virtual participant will receive a great t-shirt to commemorate the event.

| We will hold a packet pickup on Friday and Saturday, October 16-17th to pickup your event packet.
Pick up will be at Briarwood Baptist Church - 1900 Robinhood Road, Watkinsville, Ga
Friday, Oct 16th from 4 - 6 p.m. and Saturday, October 17th from 9 - 11 a.m.
This "Virtual" event can be done anywhere or anytime. Grab a friend or two and hit up the local park or your neighborhood or just get in some "me time" and do it by yourself.

| All proceeds from this event benefit the family of Susie Searcy, a loving wife, mother and teacher battling endometrial cancer.

| The Searcy family has lived in Oconee County for many years. They have been extremely active in their church, Briarwood Baptist, the community, and the schools. Susie has taught at Oconee County Elementary School for 28 years. She has touched hundreds of lives with her love and dedication to teaching. A visitor to her classroom once said, “I can sense the warmth and love by standing in this room”. The visitor had never met Susie before but was spot on with his description of her.
The Searcy family has always been generous with their time and support to those in need in the Oconee area. Now it is our time to help them. Susie was diagnosed with endometrial cancer earlier this year. It’s been a difficult road with many setbacks. |
