|All proceeds from this event benefit the family of Susie Searcy, a loving wife, mother and teacher battling endometrial cancer.
|The Searcy family has lived in Oconee County for many years. They have been extremely active in their church, Briarwood Baptist, the community, and the schools. Susie has taught at Oconee County Elementary School for 28 years. She has touched hundreds of lives with her love and dedication to teaching. A visitor to her classroom once said, “I can sense the warmth and love by standing in this room”. The visitor had never met Susie before but was spot on with his description of her.
The Searcy family has always been generous with their time and support to those in need in the Oconee area. Now it is our time to help them. Susie was diagnosed with endometrial cancer earlier this year. It’s been a difficult road with many setbacks. |
